Sakura Watch, April 26, 2012 - Time to say sayonara to the 2012 Sakura // Cherry Blossoms.

Sakura Watch, April 26, 2012 - Time to say sayonara to the 2012 Sakura // Cherry Blossoms in High Park and begin looking forward to next year. Though nearly all the blossoms have fallen from the trees throughout the park, I was pleased to find that a handful of trees have been saving a few prized bloom bundles - like hidden bursts of white and pink treasure - can still be spotted throughout the park amongst bare branches as we head into May.

Of course, the wonderful gift of the Sakura was only the beginning of the beautiful sights nature has to offer as spring continues to awaken with so many fresh colours and lush textures in High Park. Spring is always an inspiring time to explore the many walking paths in the park on a sunny afternoon.
